Music app question

I am not a big music listen but I listen to it time to time. I have copied about 25 musics in the music folder. I don't need any playlist since those are the music that I like the most anyway. But the problem is that this music app scanned all the sound files in the phone. I also use google voice for my voicemail, and when I am listening my music, it also pick up my voicemail too. Is there anyway I can assigned only to scan certain directory instead of searching the whole phone?

Samething for my gallery as well. I put few different icon files in my phone otherday, and my gallery is also picking up that folder as well, I really don't need to see that on my gallery app. Can I assign specific folder to scan or maybe tell to ignore certain directory?
