Music From PC to zmax pro not working

Music transfers to zmax pro that didn't work:
1-PC music in a folder to zmax pro using File Explorer Windows 10.
2- iTunes (latest version) music doesn't recognize zmax pro.

Was able to do these things with my Metro PCS Galaxy Avant just two weeks ago.
Would appreciate a tutorial.

What format is the music in? Where on the phone are you copying the files to? Make sure you copy then to the Music directory on Internal Storage or the SD card, and use the conventional folder hierarchy of Artist>Album>Song.
