Music gesture with Sonos

I've found the music gesture to be extremely useful controlling my Sonos speakers. Play, pause, skip... After updating to Oreo today, it's no longer working. It works if I have something playing directly on my phone (podcast) but no longer controls Sonos.

The only difference I can see is that in the notifications list, all are collapsed by default, whereas before the Sonos entry was expanded.

Did anyone else use with Sonos?

I wish I had read some of the forum entries on the OnePlus site before upgrading to Oreo. Looks like many are having similar issues with other music apps (some during the beta phases). I don't know if it's an Oreo issue or that Sonos (and others) need to update their own apps, though.
