I have an 8 Gb Moto G 2014 with a Samsung 32 G SD card. I've been using Google Play Music but I noticed that it is by far the biggest user of storage space at 1.4 Gb. I want to move all my music--about 14 CDs worth--to the SD card but that isn't an option when I look at App Info, it's greyed-out for Google Play Music. How can I move my music to the SD card or is there a different music player that uses less space. Play Music isn't all that great anyway, I've had problems with music pausing for no reason. Since I only have the 8 Gb phone, I have to start being really conservative about space and I don't really care about all the "radio" stuff in Play Music, all I want to do is play the stuff I've downloaded.

Go into the settings of the Google Play Music app itself. Then look for "Storage Location."
