Music Playback Issues

My music will randomly stop playing, I've noticed that notifications will stop it a lot of times, but it really just seems to be random.

I've tried the stock music player, doubletwist and winamp, and it happens with all 3, not only does it stop too, but it will start the song over or put it in a random spot in the song.

Any thoughts on what this could be? I've looked through my settings and don't see anything that looks like it would effect it.

Mines does the same thing sometimes.. it evens freezes my phone up at times..not sure why but it makes me mad..why? Please help

Try doing a factory reset and wipe your cache.
If that doesn't work you probably have a bad app that creates a bug or something

I was having the same problem too. I turned off the phone. Removed the SD card, put it back in. Waited a bit and restarted. So far I do not seem to have the problem anymore. I am using Winamp as my media player on the phone. Everything seems to be working now. If something changes I will update.

One other thought. I do not know if you are using something to preserve battery life, like JuiceDefender, but if you are, then you need to keep in mind that the music players require access to your network and internet. Many programs control when you are connected to the network by shutting off wifi and 3g, which would mess up the music player...
