I am thinking about getting this phone but I have a few concerns The main question I had had to do with the music player. I like the iPod feature of the iPhone and use it almost daily. I also like the headphones that change the music track from the mic/remote and I don't see anything like that for use on this phone. I am also leery of some of the apps for the android as I've seen phones become very laggy when certain apps were installed. I still haven't picked one up yet because I am still doing some research and seeing what issues people are having on their device, however, I am pretty close to jumping in and seeing if I like it. If I don't, I could always re-sell it or take it back. I do not have any lines that are up for a contract so ill need to pay full price for it. (currently using iPhone 4 16GB)

I like the Samsung Music player (the EQ is great) but it doesn't read the tags from my iTunes music too well and it doesn't see the playlists I pulled over with doubleTwist.

The doubleTwist Android app does see the tags and the playlists but doesn't have the EQ.

I'd like to see a combination of a good EQ with recognition of playlists synced over from iTunes.

I came over from an iPhone 3G and while I was used to the music player, it never "wowed" me. I always thought the sound quality could have been better.

i've got to find a better way to sync my itunes playlists with this phone. is there a way to move the itunes playlists to another app besides double twist? that program is the slowest i think i've ever used!

I would recommend trying MediaMonkey. Now I have no android device, therefore I dont know if it will sync with android or not, but I have heard too many good things about MM, and I know it's a powerful software from personal experience. Give it a go and see if it works.

OK. Here is what I have done with my Itunes collection.

I converted every album I could to MPEG and sync'ed via Doubletwist. For those that I could not convert (Locked AAC files) I am using MP3tunes and streaming them from the cloud. I used the 10 GB og free space and it was plenty for my locked AAC files.

Good luck!
