I am a refugee from the Samsung world, my Galaxy S8+ unexpectedly died three days ago. Decided to take a chance on something else and this time, after checking reviews and comments here, plunged in for a Pixel 3 XL. It just arrived and I have it basically setup and so far am very pleased. Struggling a bit with the different button layout but it will come!

I have Apple iTunes installed on my home PC and have every CD I own ripped to it. It is a lot of CDs! Can someone please recommend what I would need to install on my Pixel to allow my iTunes Library to port over to my phone?

I need this partly as I have a new vehicle and of course no CD player!

Thanks in advance to all... Mike

Plug the Pixel into the PC and copy the iTunes folders to the phone. You might want to create a folder and name it iTunes and copy all of them into that, or you may prefer to do it differently.

As he said, just copy the songs over to a folder on your phone. Then open up google Music and voila.

I have a family subscription of Apple music, and I use the Apple Music app (available in Android, Google Play store).

Before I got the pixel 3 I use and still do use, iSyncr app.
Anytime the wife or I add music to Apple Itunes on the home computer I can sync it over WiFi to my phone.

We have it going on a few different ways:

For syncing to your phone, you can use Media Monkey as a server and direct it to your iTunes folder as the media library. You can then wirelessly sync over your home network to your phone, or any other devices that have the MM player installed.

Alternatively, you can also set up a Plex server and stream to your phone; no device syncing of media required.

Probably the easiest to set up is Google Music. You can upload all of your music and stream to any device.

Since you mentioned a new car I would assume it has Android Auto. All apps mentioned are fully compatible with AA.

You can also keep it retro ol' skool' & plug in an iPod to any available USB port. ;)

I use Play Music/YouTube Music. You get YouTube Music with your Play Music subscription. Although I uploaded my personal music library to Play Music years ago, I hardly ever listen to it.
