music player freezing?

in the month I've had my Inc I've had this problem twice, the music player will freeze and fc but the ENTIRE PHONE is unresponsive for a minute or two. it basically shuts everything down and makes the phone super laggy at best.

anybody else had this problem?

I have noticed that since froyo my music will skip as if it's a scratched CD or something... it will keep playing but it's annoying as can be... not sure if it's just MixZing or what but I'm going to be looking for some sort of solution to this
