How does one get the OEM music player to point to a folder on one's external storage on the SD card?

With the stock music player there aren't any options to do this. There are plenty of other music apps on the play store that can do it though.

My stock music player finds it and knows. I've sync'd my iTunes (iSyncr) to the SD card and the stock player works just fine.

The stock player on my VZ V10 sees and uses the SD card. Not sure how or why, I just looked at the settings and didn't see a way to "point" it there. Good luck, hope you find a solution.
