Music

Plug you phone to your computer then put music into a folder named MUSIC.

I did that but when I plug it in, there are no file directories at all...

What do I do to get them back? They were there when I put ringtones on my phone but now they are gone...

When you plug your phone into your computer, go to the notifications menu bar on your phone and click on USB connection. Then when the little menu pops up on your phone make sure it is in USB mass storage mode. That should make it so that the files will show up on your computer with you go into "computer" from the menu (assuming you are on a PC. If you are on a mac it will just be on the desktop). Click on the folder for your SD card. You can then go to the media folder. Once in there you can make a new folder and just call it music or whatever you want. Then you can just drag and drop your music files into the music folder on your X. Hope this helps...

Yep. Mhans311 is right. Actually, you can do this same thing for all the folders on your X ... no special apps needed.

Another thing, too -- when you hook up your X to your computer via USB Mass Storage Mode, you will get a request to install a Moto desktop program. DON'T DO IT! Just click cancel. It doesn't do anything but get in the way. You have to cancel out of it every time you plug in the USB. Annoying, but worth it. If it's already installed, don't use it OR uninstall it.
