Mute media when headphones removed

My Bionic has always paused whatever media is playing when I remove my headphones or audio cable from the headphone jack but the other day it also started muting the media volume. Has anyone else noticed this just recently or is this something your Bionic has always done?... Or is mine the only one that has spontaneously started doing this?

I just started having this problem too. Did you recently install the turntable.fm app? I am looking for a solution still and I suspect that app as the problem, since it doesn't have a "pause" function

We're you guys able to figure out if turntable was the culprit? I'm having the same issue and I think it might have started around when I installed turntable.

It's been happening to me since I upgraded to ICS, which is way before the Turntable Android client came out.

I deleted turntable and it resolved the issue for me.
