My Advanced Messaging settings in my Galaxy S8 don't allow for texting in group chats

Android Central Question

I have an unlocked, international Samsung Galaxy S8 that doesn't allow me to send messages in a group chat with more than 10 people. The Advanced Messaging setting only allows me to turn on/off the read receipts and nothing more. Is there a way to get around this and send messages in a large group chat?

Which carrier are you using?
All the USA carriers place limits on the number of recipients in group texts, although these limits are not always enforced. ATT has a limit of 10 when ATT enforces it.

To get around these carrier limits, you need to use a third-party instance messaging service like WhatsApp or Telegram, or maybe something like the "group me" app.
