My alphabet keyboard is missing on my Galaxy 3 phone, how can I get it back?

alphabet keyboard is missing on galaxy 3 phone

on my samsung galaxy s3, the alphabetic keyboard is black and I cannot text. numbers all three number keyboard appear but no alphabet. Please help

Welcome to Android Central.

Have you tried a Power Off and Restart of the phone?
If so, and still no good, try a Cache Partition wipe.
