My "Android 6.0, Marshmallow, Phone"-is not-"Recognizing/Prompting"("Formatting"?) "Micro SD Card"-?

I do, apologize, '4' any misnomer's, mistakes, or "use of, wrong "tactis" etc...
This is my 1st "Post"-Ever
(& "no" I'm not 12 Shoot, "they" could... "Anyways"-
("yikes!") "digress much"
("sorry")

I Think "above question" pretty-much, covers it...

It's a "Brand-New, Micro SD card. I "turned off" Phone-"Android 6.0" ("stock").
Put "card" in, turned on my Phone...&..."Nuthn'!!"

--I, also tried "Restart"...

And have you tried another (known to be good) SD card in your phone? The phone could be the problem, but even a brand new SD card could be bad. (And if you bought it on eBay from China, it could be counterfeit.)
