my Atrix turned me off

My Atrix has been working perfectly, battery life was awesome and I have just decided that I will keep the phone..
until yesterday my atrix suddenly become SUPER LAGGY on everything !!! the top portion of the touch screen also lost its sensibility.. so I could not select anything on the top portion of the screen.....

the same thing start to happen to my wife atrix, the right portion of the screen also start loosing the sensibility, but hers like come and go issue while mine has been consistent...

Wondering if anyone has this issues at all???

I think I will be returning mine....and wondering if I should try another luck with another atrix... but wont be doing that if this is a common reliability problem...

Did you install an app recently that maybe affecting your OS? I would work backwards and delete some new apps you installed to find the problem app.

It could just be a couple of bad handsets. My wife and I both had bad Droid X's when we picked them up at launch.

I even had already reset my phone twice, going with new blur account, and the issue still persist.....

What happens if you turn the phone so it's horizontal are the same spots on the screen still not working. This should tell you if it's a hardware or OS issue.

yeah i did rotate it and it works... so clearly there is a hardware issue on the top portion of the screen
