My battery doesn't make it to lunch... does yours?

man i just think some of just got bad batteries, will be taking it back to sprint to swap the phone.... I only get 4 hours of moderate usage...

I've had two EVO's (different stores) one had terrible battery life one had excellent battery life with the same exact settings. I think people are going nuts with all these settings and it has nothing to do with settings.

So far, with 14 hours of regular use, I'm still over 40% battery. The only thing I changed today from yesterday (and before) was disabling Talk from polling. This seems to have dramatically improved my battery life.

YMMV

I agree.. setting do help a little but we did get some evo's with bad batteries.

15 hours so far today and I have 20% left. Pretty light use -- most of the day has been on standby, with probably 2 hrs accumulated of surfing (wifi 3G and 4G depending on location) and a few phone calls and a bit of music and gaming.

I really hate to hear you guys are having issues with the battery! Several of the post including the op sound like they might have bad batteries. I am getting 12+ hours everyday consistently. This is with moderate use calls, texts, email, and about an hour of music player. Also some internet usage. I would agree with the others check all settings carefully

I highly doubt there is huge differentiation between devices in respect to battery life. Just doesn't make sense that some would be shipped with "bad" and "good" batteries. Sure, some components might come faulty in certain devices, but to have such a high disparity as you're saying just doesn't make sense.

Mine hasent been on the charger since 11am and its 9pm now with music being played and texting. Oh btw its at 51%.

As I reported earlier in this thread, I used to get 6-7 hours of average use until the phone shut itself off, while at my desk at work.

Today I shut off 4G, bluetooth, and Wifi and I'm at 30% after 10.5 hours with more use than I previously had. It makes sense that the battery would last longer with those radios turned off but it has a bigger impact than what I thought.

Its too bad that the Scenes (work, play, etc) doesn't handle the radios when switching to different scenes. That way I can have the proper settings for work and not have to fuss with settings things individually. I'm sure there's an app for it but just be nice to have Scenes do it built in.
