My battery is horrible!!!

I'm getting half the battery life on 4.4.2, only lasting 11 hours or so instead of the up to 27 hours on 4.3 or 4.2. Will this even out?

How long have you been on the update? If it hasn't been very long give it a few more days and charge cycles. If it doesn't, then consider a factory reset (backup all your data) and see if that improves the life of the battery.

I updated the day or went live in the UK, so three days ago. Getting 90 minutes of screen time (don't know if that's it) , I'll see tomorrow when screen time is usually very low

I am having opposite experience , Battery life on 4.4.x seem to be awesome from day one while battery life on 4.3.x really sucked.

Wait for 2 days and see.

My usage hasn't increased since pre 4.4.2 (NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, mobile data all on) but battery is dying in half the time

Today's usage



Pre 4.4.2 (NFC and Bluetooth weren't on at this point)


Edit: that bottom one had a little bump charge near the end, but even without that the battery lasted far longer
