After changing things that have been mentioned my phone has seemed to get worse. My battery is at 14% and its 2:30. I do use my phone a lot but it's only 2:30.

I've been using my phone all day and its only at 80%. I would look for wake locks and rogue apps.

I'm currently at 1 day and 13 hours off charger and 5 hours and 35 minutes of screen on time with 34 percent battery life over

I'm in the same boat. I just got it however so hopefully it'll get better.

I should also mention that I'm on kitkat 4.4.2.

at 10hr 30min and at 50% I am always a heavy user. This phone has been the best android phone I have owned for battery. I did not keep the m7 just because the battery was so bad but the m8 has been awesome. My iphone 5s I normally would have to plug it in to an external charger at least 3 times a day.

just got my best use out of my htc one m8 so farScreenshot_2014-04-21-20-10-15.jpg and that is with some moderate usage,15 minutes of games and watching shows on hulu and netflix, some youtube and music

How long have you had the phone? it wasn't until around day 5 that my phone really settled in. Before that i wasn't getting good life. i will say that mine drops pretty fast from 100% to around 85%(100 to 95 in a matter of like 15 minutes), and at that point it seems to really dig its heals in. i have been consistantly getting around 26 hours on a charge with moderate to heavy usage. If after a week you aren't seeing a huge improvement i would delete all the apps you have downloaded and start adding them one at a time, monitoring the battery drain after each one before adding another. Or do a factory reset first, and then add what you want one at a time
