My brand new samsung s10 wont charge off the power socket in the house but will charge in the car ?

[Android Central Question]

When plugged into the power socket it charges for a.minute then stops. When plugged into the car charger it starts charging right away. ? I've tried different chargers in the house socket but can't get it to charge?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried different outlets in the house, and ensure that the charger plug was connected all the way to the cord?

It's either a bad outlet (and there could be many that can't make contact with rigid plug legs), a bad cable or a bad charger - those are the only things different between house and car. Substitute one at a time to find out which one it is. (Plug into different outlets. If that doesn't fix it, try different cables. If that doesn't fix it, try different chargers. One will fix the problem.)
