My Calendar app crashes after Pie update

I have the Note 9 and after installing the Pie update my calendar app crashes when I try to add a new entry. I press the "add" button and then the screen goes blank and then crashes. I have cleared the cache but that did not fix the issue. Any one have any ideas?
