My cherry mobile Touch XL2 wont turn after displaying the CM Logo

My CM Touch XL2 is just 4 months old, no apps, no SD card. I did not use it for 2 hours, it has 40% battery the last time I checked it. When I was about to use it, it say "Andriod is restarting, 1 App is updating". I lasted for 15 to 20 mins. We decided to take out the battery. It display the logo and it stays black afterwards. What happened? I took out the battery and spin it if its bulged but its not spinning freely, so we assumed it was not the battery. Please help!!!!!

You need to hard reset your phone. When the phone is off, just push volume + power together until you seen recovery mode screen. And then choose recovery. When you see the droid, push volume up + power together for a couple of seconds. Do this until you see a new screen where you can factory reset your phone. Hey make sure your phone is 50% charged.

Push volume up button with power button. They need to pushed at same time. I have the same phone and mine runs very smooth.
