my contacts in phone lg g2 won't transfer to my tacoma, why?

blue tooth works with the phone but the contacts won't transfer. any ideas why?

It's an incompatibility between the phone and the vehicle. Bluetooth is just a pipe, not content. So if you pour milk into a pipe going into the gas tank of the Tacoma, the pipe works fine, but the Tacoma won't run. Same with your contacts. The phone is sending them to the Tacoma - but the data isn't what the Tacoma is looking for.

See if the vehicle service department has any updates for the audio system.
