my droid 3 had an update this morning???

anyone else get an update message this morning? not sure what it was or what changed but it took a little while to load. My phone now has a build number of 5.5.1_84_d3g-55

Yes, a over the air OS update is out and your phone may have received it.

From the Settings screen goto "about phone" and look for the system version number about 3 ines up from where you got your the info you posted here. It should be 5.6.890.XT862.Version.en.US
