My Droid is so "HOT

Okay first my Droid gets extremely hot at night when I'm charging it. Has anyone else experienced there getting REALLY HOT!
Then this morning I noticed that my X didn't charge pass 60% this morning. Anyone have there battery go out this soon. Could this be why my phone got so hot? Will Verizon give me a replacement battery under my insurance?

First off whats a "stood"? I am very curious lol


Anywho, sounds like a bad fault in your battery somewhere. Verizon should cover this kinda stuff within the first year of owning it.

If its been less than 30 days, you can totally return it.

typing from my droid guess it thought "stood" was a better word than droid!! LOL

Look at your Data arrows. If they are constantly sending and receiving while the phone is plugged in it will get hot. Multiple emails, updating widgets like weather, if not set right, will constantly put strain on the battery.

I agree that it is probably a bad battery, or the charging circuit on your device is bad. Either way, it is a warranty issue, not an insurance issue.
