My droid wiped itself.

My phone was locked with fingerprint security, then I heard the restart tone.
When I checked it, it was taking me through the setup wizard.
I've lost everything since my last backup before I went on holiday, (had no data to do backups), so all of my holiday photos were lost.

Is there any way that this can be reversed?
My Samsung / Google Account is (as mentioned above) not updated with my backups, so any alternative suggestions or reasons why this happened would be very much appreciated.

Interesting. Mine did exactly the same thing, under the same circumstances. I initially concluded it was my ineptness in trying to do a cache clear. Well, I certainly cleared the cache all right!
