my droid x is stuck on bootloader help!

i was trying to do a factory reset and i ended in booloader. how do i get out?

step 1. remain calm.

step 2. find a way to charge ur battery.

Had my phone about 2 weeks, ended up where u are now. Shelved for a while., now its recovered a golden.

the battery will not get any electricity while at the boot-loader screen.

Dead batt was my biggest obstacle and i'll bet its urs too.

Have you tried this:

Power Device Off First.....



1. Hold Home Button and press power

2. Screen will show a Android with a triangle with astrick

3. Let Go of Home Button and Power

4. Press Search Button (Far Left Button)

5. A blue menu will show at top of page, scroll to Format Device

6. Select Yes to verify

7. Allow format to complete (Information at bottom of page will go through a few steps)

8. Once Format is complete Blue Menu will show at top again, select Reboot


Note: Use volume up and down to select opinion and use camera button as Enter,,,

thanks guys, sparks you were right i wasnt able to charge the battery. so what i did is just took it in to a vzw store and they replaced it. thanks for the help.
