My DroidX2 story!

I have 5 lines on a family account. All of them have data for now. 4 of the lines have the unlimited data with a promo discount of $20 on each line. Making the cost of the unlimited data $9.99. With the coming of tiered data I figured I better get a smartphone on one of the lines that had a flip phone on it (long story). So last night I looked for a good deal on a smartphone. The wife said she wouldn't mind having a droidX.

Anyway I found one at "CarToys" (a local audio/mobile store) for $49.99 online. I called the closest one to me and asked if they had any in stock. David (salesman who I talked with) said "sure, we have 4 in stock". I then replied "then I'll head in and grab one". To which David replied "just ask for David, thats me and I'll hook you up". We get to the store 23 miles from my house. I told the salesman I talked to David on the phone about a droidX. The guy pointed me to him. David looks at me and says "I swear I thought there was 3 in stock" then he pauses "but since I told you we had them in stock I will sell you a X2 for the same price."

I'm thinking to myself swwwweeeetttt. lol. So I ended up getting the X2 for $49.99 :-$ with no activation fee. Great day for me!!
