My Epic doesn't like to wake up in the morning.

I have noticed the past 3 days that my Epic has to be restarted every morning. When I go to sleep, I set the alarm on my Epic and it works fine but when I disconnect from the charger after a long nights sleep my g3 network is not connected and while my phone signal shows 2 bars, it will not place a call. I can turn on the 4g and the network works fine but the phone is still not functional. After shutting the phone down and restarting everything works fine.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how were they able to resolve it?

My brother has the Fascinate and had the same problem, couldn't place calls but had reception. I just rebooted his phone for him and it worked fine after that. I'll have to check with him and see if it's an ongoing problem like yours. +1 for the hard reset idea.

I removed Lookout Mobile Security and the issue went away. I will use it like this for a week to test it. If all is good after a week, I will reinstall Lookout and see if the issue comes back.

Please let me know. I am having the same problem. My phone will have full bars and it can't make calls. Also lately it won't go into sleep mode. It goes blank for a second then comes back on. I also have Lookout installed.
