My Evo may not have the nicer screen but...

who cares? it's software bug.. just like how EVO had that crappy 30fps cap.. your crappier screen will never get fixed. At lease the software bugs have a chance of being fixed.

Did you forget you have a samsung phone? Good luck with that software fix buddy guy.

hope for the best.. but at this point, I'd still take the nicer screen, faster CPU, and superior camera over any current disadvantages compared to the other 4G option.

Not a noticeably faster cpu, you have a better gpu. Get it right.

I'll take my solid non-happy meal toy over it.

Besides, if your battery is dead how is any of that gonna help you?

Umm. Ya... The cap was removed genius. I can go all day about the Epic. Just troll yourself out and save yourself the embarrassment.

The gpu performs sufficiently with the Evo, the camera w/ vignette will do, and a bigger screen really makes you forget about the Epic's vibrant screen. The point I'm trying to make is: who cares HOW good it is, is it good enough for you?

EVO "had" that cap. A bit reading comprehension can go a long way..

R u on some sort of drug that disabled your common sense...the evo has a faaaar superior camera to the epic... a whole 3 megapixels better !!!!

That being said there is no reason to insult each other... we all love Android and that should be the only thing that matters !

reality check:

1. The Epic is NOT the iPhone so you can stop being all elitist

2. If the Epic was soo "F'n awesome!" then Sprint stores wouldn't have an overstock of them and back orders of Evos. Furthermore, Tmobile wouldn't be having a buy 1 get 1 free promotion either.

3. The Epic and the Evo will be a distant memory in a few months when something better comes along. Unfortunately, the iPhone won't be forgotten anytime soon nor will all the companies that make 1000's of accessories for it.

Would HTC forget the Evo? Would Samsung forget the Epic? I think I know the answer to the HTC one, but I'm kinda worried about the Epic. This time, I have faith in Samsung to follow through, but with phone technology growing beyond exponentially, who knows if they'll support it or make a run for it. With a whole series of Galaxy S phones, I don't think Samsung would run.

it's beyond that. Apple usually releases 1 new iPhone every year around July. HTC, Motorola, Samsung are up and running and releases phones left/right. There is no "one" phone they stand behind in the long run.

Their release cycle is insane. If I was an accessory manufacturer by the time I made a case for the Evo the EVO 2 would be out.

OMGEVO2UNFOUNDEDSPECULATIONANDOVERREACTIONAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Just kidding, though I would be very excited to see what HTC's natural progression will be off the EVO for future high end android phones. For all you epic owners out there, I genuinly hope that with at least four galaxy S class phones out, samsung provides real support. No one needs another Moment...

Pun intended?
