My First Few Days On Project Fi ...

.. Have been awesome! The phone (6P) and the service both have performed perfectly and I'm happy as I can be with them both ... But that leads to my question:

My original plan was to keep my Verizon LG G3 active for the first month while I test Fi out with a new number and once I was comfortable then I'd port my number over from Verizon to Fi ... Freeing myself from Big Red once and for all ...

I've only been on Fi since Friday but I've had no problems at all with the service. I'm on WiFi at home and work and even at my favorite bar so data wont be an issue and TMo/Sprint is everywhere around me so I've had LTE speeds the whole time when I haven't been on WiFi too ...

I'm seriously thinking about porting my number tonight and just being done with Verizon and the $130 a month I'm so tired of paying ... but is 4 days too soon? I don't wanna jump the gun and be pissed off at my self if something goes wrong ... should I port now or wait?

Thanks in advance!

Just got my 6p about three hours ago and still getting set up. Really like the phone and the service at home is great but I need to test out other areas that I go. If I were you I would hold on a few more days just to be sure.

I thought it would be harder to part with my Note 5 but this 6P is going to keep that pretty painless.

Forgot to add that I'm using a new/test number also on Fi. I'm hoping that this works out well.

Thanks for your replies .. Just to update, I went ahead and began the port. I am confident that the coverage will be plenty good enough even after just 4 (really 3.5) days of testing. The other factor was the sooner I port the sooner I can suspend my Verizon account and begin saving money!

I went immediately from Verizon to Fi porting my number and have had zero issues. This took place on November 2nd.

Where are you located? I'm in Maryland right outside Washington DC and I work IN DC so there's basically nowhere that's not covered by TMo and/or Sprint .. I'm gonna be a happy Fi customer!
