My G4 took a dump....

Was in a store yesterday, pulled it out to look up something, found it and then the phone froze up. Pulled the battery and tried to boot it back up and it wouldn't get past the LG screen. Took it to Verizon, the rep tried everything (to his credit, he did seem a bit knowledgeable)...na da. We called the Verizon hotline and he tried everything...nope. So, they are overnighting me a new phone. First time this has ever happened to me. Have only had the phone since June...wierd.

It's a common issue with the G4. It's a hardware issue.

Contact LG for a replacement.

All the problems I have heard about seem to be in America. Is this a issue with uk g4 as Well.

It affects all variants of the G4 manufactured before September.

Only a few are affected, though there are many out there now suffering from the bootloop issue
