My Galaxy S3 (SCH-i535) started having an issue where it would randomly turn off.
Now it will not boot past the boot screen. I've restored my phone to factory setting and I still have the same issue. I discovered that the phone will boot normally while it is plugged in, however when you remove the power it will turn off (not the normal power down). I suspected it to be the battery and tested this option by powering my phone up to the boot menu, while unplugged for several hours and the phone did not power down. Any help is much appreciated.
