My galaxy s4 show a status of custom

My galaxy s4 has a device status of custom. I have never installed stock rom or rooted my phone. Need help reset status to normal.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you buy it brand new, or was it used, refurbished, or purchased through a reseller?

It was bought threw my service provider. I have taken it in to them and they say I need to reset the phone and restore. I did that but it did not help. I feel that it was this way when we got it. We got it two years ago.
