My Galaxy S5 is in the safe mode and I can't get it out of it?

My galaxy s5 is in the safe mode and i cant get it out of it

I took some pictures in the pool since it is waterproof , but all aplications are now shut , my down volume button does not work , and ive tried , rebooting , restarting , recovering etc but nothing , i repeat once all the applivations like fb , instagram , games are irrespondible , but if i drag the app in the main screen it works but lags alot, please i count on your help

the galaxy s5 is only water resistant not waterproof you could have water inside the phone.
Id pop the back off pull the battery and put it in a bag of rice for a few days.
