My Galaxy S5 WILL connect to my 2006 325xi BMW's bluetooth, but it continuously plays my ringtone. Why is it doing this?

Galaxy S5 WILL connect to my 2006 325xi BMW's bluetooth, but it continuously plays my ringtone.

I recently purchased a 2006 325xi BMW and it comes with hands-free Bluetooth connectivity. So when I attempt to pair my Galaxy S5, my phone starts to continuously play my ringtone. The ringtone loops and does not stop until I completely power off my phone. Anyone experience something like this?

Is the BMW radio in discoverable mode when you're dong this? (A device has to be discoverable to pair. And "pair" and "connect" are completely different things.)
