Android Central Question

I charged my galaxy s6 every night but, just last night my phone stopped working the next day. It inst the same case with the blinking blue lights and white lights, mine has a solid green led. I tried everything, researched every button possible, and still wont show any sign of restarting. Also tried to plug it into the PC and tried all the button again no sign of life. The only thing showing life is the solid green led light where you uselessly see signs when your battery is full or charging. The only thing I can do now is drain the battery, but I don't know how long it will take since it would be fully charged. Is there a way on draining the battery?

Welcome to Android Central! How do you know you're draining the battery -- does the battery icon appear on the screen when it's plugged in?

Did you power cycled? To force power down hold power button for few seconds.

Running the battery flat isn't going to help your cause, it will just give you more grief... Sounds like something is alive in there so test the phone by calling it to see if it rings. Is it does, it's your screen..
Plug it into a pc and see if the pc detects it..
Take it to a phone shop where they may be able to boot it up.... Or repair it

On Samsung phones, you can force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down together for about 20 seconds (not just Power).
