My galaxy s9 sometimes wont light up when i try unlock my phone?? Help

Okay so more often than not my galaxy s9 will unlock but theres no brightness I can't see the screen. A few minutes later itll light up. Can someone please help me I've had my phone for 2 months.

Do you have a case or a screen protector that is maybe obstructing the light sensor?
