My galaxy won't turn on all of a sudden

This morning, my phone was working fine, the alarm went off and I was able to use it. I didn't check on it until work and noticed that it absolutely won't turn on even after soft resets and charging it. Hard reset doesn't work either. What's weird is that sometimes when I plug it in to the computer the computer still tries to download a driver when when I plug it into the computer even though it fails.

Is there anything I can try or is it just plain dead?
