My gionee suddenly went off and not coming up

I was charging my phone, picked it up because I didn't see the charging indicator. Thought I had a call or message but it was off, tried putting it on and nothing.........not coming up

How old is your device? Could possibly be a failing battery

Welcome to Android Central! Plug it into a wall outlet and let it charge undisturbed for at least 6 hours. Then press and hold Power for about 30 seconds. If nothing happens, wait a few seconds and then press and hold Power for another 30 seconds. If still nothing, then either the battery or the motherboard failed -- you'd have to bring it to a repair shop (or contact Gionee if the phone is still under warranty).
