My girlfriend has a Samsung Captivate Glide that wont power on. What can I do?

My girlfriend has a samsung captivate glide that won"t power on.

This doesn't appear to be a battery issue. We live in Methuen, Mass if there is a repair location nearby that you can suggest. Or we would be willing to ship for repair if necessary.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you tell us why it doesn't appear to be a battery issue? Has she already tried a new battery?

Also, has she tried pressing and holding Power for at least 15-20 seconds?
