Welcome to Android Central! Is this the Gionee GN5005? Did you do the battery replacement yourself? Do you have a lot of experience opening up phones and replacing their batteries?

Possibilities include damage during the replacement process, a faulty or old/deteriorated replacement battery, or a fake battery.
