My God, it's full of apps!

The number of apps is overwhelming!

I just got my first smartphone, a used Droid2. . The old clamshell phone drowned in a thunderstorm. Now I'm being flooded with apps, info, root suggestions - it's fun!

I did not intend to root the phone for a while, but the preloaded Verizon apps convinced me. Every time you use the USB cable, it forces the computer to launch a video about Backup Assistant. Every. Single. Time. Must freeze that sucker.

I can't provide any help on this particular problem you're having, sorry. I just had to "LoL" at that! Damn, that would definitely be grounds for me to root too.
