my google account got disabled on nexus 7? for a short time?

i wasn't doing anything, all of sudden, i was logged out. and i got a sign telling me that my account is disabled? wtf .

it told me to use a web browser to check http://www.google.com/accounts

when i used my computer. my regular email was logged out, it asked me to type some random letters to verify, after that,my google account was back to normal again.

so i don't know what happened. i checked those ip addresses, they all seem to be mine? what happened here?

Maybe it thought someone tried to hack you? That has happened to me with my Facebook and Google account at the same time. But it made me change my password also.

i thought that it was because i did "something wrong" that i am not aware of.

you should check: https://security.google.com to see where your disabled notice was located.

i checked mine, the location was "unknown".

it won't let me get on my nexus 7 at all. i had to use my computer to get this account back again.

Well when that happened to me a couple months ago, it automatically signed me out of everything I had signed into with both accounts and then both Google and Facebook immediately sent me an email letting me know someone tried to gain access to my account and I had to change passwords. Have you gotten an email?

but on that day, i probably have used 3 different things to log in google. the strange part is as i have already stated, the location which disabled my account was unknown. if google did, i don't think that they would hide their location.

did you check your security list to see if you can see the location which disabled your account?

This happened 9 months ago for me. So it won't say anything about my account being disabled right now. It could have been just because you signed into a new place.
