My Google Now Reminders are trying to set my clock alarm?

I am on a Galaxy S5, in the UK on EE. Running Lollipop 5.0 but with a new update that has fixed the no silent mode issue.
I have just tried to set a reminder using Google Now with my voice, which has always worked before, except now the reminder sets my clock alarm instead of storing it in Google Now in the usual way!
Anyone any ideas?
I've checked that the Clock app hasn't been set as default etc.... but to no avail.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Sibex,

Based on your other thread it looks like others are having the same issue (myself included). Google seems to be aware of it, so hopefully it's fixed soon. In the meantime, you can still go into Google Now > menu > reminders to see and assign new reminders manually. I understand it's not intuitive, but will work until Google has fixed the issue.

I am experiencing issues with my Google now reminders, it keeps setting an alarm clock instead of a reminder. I thought it was due to my recent factory reset, but see others are having the same issue. Hope Google fixes this fast, it is embarrassing having an alarm sound off during a meeting.

Same issue here in USA on Sprint

Started happening yesterday. Both my device and my girlfriends. Both with ATT, both have HTC M8s.

Same is happening for me. I though it had something to do with the fact that my phone is in Portuguese or some interference of Samsung's TouchWiz, but obviously not. The most annoying part of this is that I can't set a reminder linked to a location. In Portuguese, we already had this issue for driving directions. For a wile now, the command "take me home" just returns me the AH HA song :/ Why does Google do that?
