My home wi-fi network no longer shows up on my J2 galaxy 5.1.1 phone.

My phone connects fine to wi-fi at public places like the library, supermarket etc.

It used to connect to my home network, but then started disappearing until one day it just disappeared for good. I've tried a factory reset, but have the same problem. All of my neighbours' wi-fi networks show up however. We have a broadband connection and other users in the house can connect fine with their phones.

Welcome to Android Central! Does your router have both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wi-fi bands? If so, check to make sure the 2.4 GHz is working. If it's only the 5 GHz band, I don't think your phone will see it, since it doesn't look like the J2 supports 5 GHz.
