My HTC 626 won't come on at all I was checking my email and it just cut off?

My HTC 626 wont come on at all I was checking my email and it just cut off?

I thought maybe it had died so I put it on the charger but to come to find out when I put it on the charger to charge the red light didn't even come on to say it was charging what do I do?

Welcome to Android Central! It's possible the battery or the motherboard died. Leave it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 4-6 hours, then try powering on again by pressing and holding Power for 15-20 seconds. If nothing happens, you may have to bring it to a repair shop.
