My htc one formatted itself. I had charged it fully before going to sleep. In the morning when I woke, it wouldn't switch on. I plugged it in for charging and switched it on to find that it has gotten formatted. I don't know what I should do. Help!!

Welcome to Android Central! A spontaneous factory reset probably indicates some kind of catastrophic firmware glitch. Hopefully you had recently backed up your important data, or had it set to sync regularly, because otherwise the data is lost. Sorry!
