My HTC One M8 is glitchy, is it possible to get it exchanged?

htc one m8 is glitchy

open an app and a bunch of random things happen almost like somebody is pressing a bunch of buttons and the phone goes all over the place. did a hard reset and still does it. any suggestions on what is wrong?

Does this issue happen only with one application or all of them? What about not pressing an app, but pressing the menu/back buttons?

Has the device come into contact with water some other form of moisture recently?
