My HTC One M8 will not turn on (more info in desc)

[AC Question]

This morning, my HTC took about 30 seconds to turn on when I clicked the power button, odd, but it worked fine when it finally was on. In a few hours, I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't. I've hooked it up to my computer and the computer recognizes it as an android phone (meaning it's not completely broken?). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. (hard resets don't work, also, the orange light to indicate charging is not on either)
