Android Central Question
So I might have made a mistake some time ago. I decided to try the Citra 3DS emulator to try and emulate a 3ds game I have. It turned out extremely laggy and basically unplayable. I force stopped the app several times. Eventually I uninstalled Citra and removed the 3ds file (It was large, about 1.5GB), however I noticed that now my system seems to think I have 7GB worth of apps on my phone. I also attempted to transfer some game files downloaded from the app store to an SD card, as I was strapped for space at one point and I still wanted to play games that took up a lot of space, like XCom. I noticed you could still play them from the SD card, and that is why I did this. So I transferred the game files and manually deleted them from the local phone storage. Later though, when Citra failed, I opted to return all games files to the local storage and then removed the SD card, which is now empty, however the damage was already done, and my storage space has been limited since then. This entire event is the only reason I can attribute the change to as before I tried this, everything was fine and I had a lot of storage space to play with.
I've tried downloading various storage apps to try and find that phantom 7GB to no avail. I've even factory reset my phone, but still the 7GB of app data remains. I have no idea how to solve this, and I was clearly playing with tech out of my league. I hope someone here has a solution to this issue, as I've not found any mention of this problem online, anywhere.
I can provide proof that I my phone thinks I have 7GB of app data, and that I don't actually have enough apps to constitute 7GB if there is a request for it.
